About Mrs. Coleman

Mrs. Coleman has a broad educational and work experience history that makes her uniquely qualified to meet a wide range of counseling needs. She holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Henderson State University. Mrs. Coleman has over 15 years of experience working in a variety of settings including inpatient psychiatric treatment, residential substance abuse & psychiatric treatment centers, outpatient counseling centers, and private practice. She has specialty training in alcohol and drug counseling, trauma focused therapy, and child/adolescent & family therapy.

Great care will be taken to assist clients with identifying and understanding their personal recovery goals. Mrs. Coleman’s overall approach to treatment is to bring her clients just the right blend of compassion, common sense, and clinical expertise that will help them make meaningful and measurable progress towards reaching their counseling goals. She will provide clients with tools and encourage behavioral change which will help them effectively manage their issues so that they can have joy & fulfillment in their lives.
